Cecelia commenced at the Bar in 2020, after previously practicing as a government Barrister. Prior to coming to the bar, Cecelia was an Associate to his Honour Judge Smith in the Brisbane District Court in 2015 and her Honour Judge Bradley in the Ipswich District Court in 2016. Cecelia was then employed as a Crown Prosecutor with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Qld) until 2020. While working at the ODPP, Cecelia was involved in prosecuting various types of criminal matters, ranging from minor drug matters through to murder. Cecelia is an active supporter and participant of the Ipswich District Law Association. Cecelia practices primarily in Criminal law and regularly appears in trials, sentences and appeals in the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts. Cecelia also accepts briefs for Domestic Violence matters.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Dan worked at a local law firm in Ipswich. During this period, he acted as a Solicitor Advocate for a wide range of clients, focusing predominately on Criminal and Family Law. Dan regularly appeared on behalf of his clients the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts as well as the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court. In 2019 Dan was an Associate to his Honour Judge Horneman-Wren SC in the Ipswich District Court. This experience was invaluable. In 2020 Dan commenced his full-time practice at the private Bar. Dan has a particular interest in Criminal Law and regularly appears in the Magistrates, District and Supreme Court in all manner of criminal proceedings. He also has a Family Law practice and accepts civil briefs in the area of Defamation. Dan is an active supporter and participant of the Ipswich District Law Association. Outside of work, Dan likes playing and coaching Rugby Union, the odd round of golf and enjoys a spot of fishing.
Blair Chambers Daniel Boddice
Justin was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2002 and was employed as a Solicitor Advocate for over 14 years until he was called to the Private Bar in 2017. Justin is the founding member of Blair Chambers and is currently head of Chambers. Prior to coming to the Bar, he worked as a partner in a growing regional firm. Justin is based in Ipswich, but appears in Courts all over Queensland and interstate. He runs a general practice, and works primarily in Criminal and Family Law. Justin appears in Family and Federal Circuit Court in relation to property and parenting disputes, as well as child welfare matters and domestic violence proceedings. Justin has a general civil litigation practice and regularly appears in the Magistrates, District and Supreme Court of Queensland. He also appears in specialist courts such as the Mental Health Court and the Children’s Court. Justin has been heavily involved with the Ipswich District Law Association as a Past President and Secretary, and member of the CLE committee for many years.

Mitch obtained a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the Queensland University of Technology. During his studies, he made an impression in the moot court becoming the Queensland Champion in Witness Examination (2007-2010), Queensland Mooting Champion (2009-2010), Champion of the Oxford International Moot Competition (2010), and the 2009 QUT Advocacy Prize winner. Mitch joined the Royal Australian Navy as an officer. During his service, Mitch obtained a Masters of Law from the Australian National University with a dissertation in statutory interpretation of work health and safety legislation. In 2015, Mitch joined an in-house legal team working in employment, WHS and insurance. Mitch routinely represents the Commonwealth Government Departments in WHS and employment matters. His practice centres around employment/industrial law, statutory prosecutions, criminal proceedings and administrative law. Mitch has a professional interest in legal education, and teaches evidence and administrative law at Queensland University of Technology.
